austin remodeling in Valley Oaks home
The most colorful house in Valley Oaks. That’s what we call this bright, colorful home located in north Austin’s Valley Oaks neighborhood. It definitely stands out against the Modern homes that are developing around it.
The previous kitchen was remodeled in the mid 90’s. It was time for a modern touch to bring it into the present era.
New custom cabinets by Woodmode enhance the space. Quart countertops from GT Stoneworks add durable surfaces. A custom ceramic tile backsplash and floor update complete the look. Updated fixtures and a new oversized composite sink finish the modernization.
This tastefully remodeled kitchen and utility space blends natural warmth with sophisticated modern textures. It centers around custom light-oak cabinetry and polished light stone countertops with subtle gray veining.
A standout feature is the vertically stacked, hand-crafted style tile backsplash. It showcases rich color variations in ocean blues, slate, and earthy teal tones.
Above the main sink, a decorative textured glass pendant casts soft light patterns. It illuminates a deep under-mount sink with modern pull-down fixtures before a large window overlooking backyard greenery.
Soft sage-green walls bring a serene, organic feel to the room. Light gray stone-look tile flooring connects the main galley kitchen to an adjoining laundry room. The laundry room features matching custom cabinetry and quartz counter space.
